Sooo...it's the first of February today. A LOT of things are going to happen this month, so, I thought I'd do a feature.
I want to do a "jump" photography feature. It's not only my signature style of photography, but it is symbolic of the big leap I'm going to be taking in the next couple of weeks. I think jumping is a good way to look at it, because it's like entering a new world for me, where the sky is the limit as I embark on my new journey.

Whoever catches the decided page kiriban, wins a Pokemon chibi of their choice ^_^ When you catch the kiriban, upload a screenshot of my page to your scraps and then note me with a link. The first to upload the kiriban wins! Good luck ^_^

A kiriban is another name for a page counter. On deviantART, this is our pageviews. Under my username, I will have something written like "1000 Kiriban Pokemon Chibi". When my pageviews matches that number, that's when you've caught the kiriban!

IMPORTANT: You can now catch as many kiribans as you like! (if you're lucky, of course)

The next kiriban is usually set at +1000 from the previous catch. If noone catches it, it will be set to the next +500 or so, or sometimes the numbers will be completely random, so keep an eye out! Just look at the top left corner to see what the next catch is ^_^

I have decided that I want a new account. NOT because I'm getting rid of this one, but because I'm organising my art ^_^
It seems my gallery is a bit messy, so I've decided this account will be used for my photography and traditional art, and my new account will be used for my digital art.

I am fully aware that a lot of you have watched me for my digital art. So what I am asking is, if you decide to watch my other account instead, please tell me. I would hate to all of a sudden loose all of my watchers, as I have really appreciated all of your support through these past 2 years. So I thank all 241 of you. You've really helped me feel good about my art and improve

If you're unsure as to whether you want to watch my other account yet, just look at my digital art folder on this account. That will give you a good indication of what to expect ^_^

You can also see my first deviations added to that account ^_^


I will, however, suggest you continue watching my journals on this account, if not my art, as here I will be keeping you updated on things such as commissions and contests (which I would really like to try) for both accounts.

Hi my lovelies

Tomorrow, my next chapter begins, as tomorrow is the day I discover whether or not all my hard work has paid off.

I've been wanting to do a lot of things lately-art wise.

I've tried out water colour, and am actually, still trying it ^_^ I have a painting of a toucan that has just been sitting in my dining room, only half finished. I hope to finish it very soon.

I want to try working with charcoal, or even pastels, and I've been meaning to pull out my brand new easel, still never been used, to paint an animal, or even a landscape.

But there's something greater calling for me.
Something,
     I don't ever plan on stopping.
I always said to myself, I'd rather be brilliant at one thing, than just okay at a lot of things.
At the moment, you can probably tell I'm doing a lot of things, and though different people like my different styles, I haven't reached where I want to be, and if I keep going like this, I probably won't.

I want to draw.
       That is the thing I want to be great at.



I've only done small drawings, and I haven't done as many as I would have liked to have done. But that's going to change.
And so my new years resolution is


Draw.


Yes, I won't give up on photography. I am very passionate about it, and will always pursue it. I'm hoping to get studio lighting to broaden my ability.
Yes, I won't give up entirely on digital art, but you won't be seeing much of it.  

Not many of you know, that I am a passionate environmentalist and animal lover. For that reason, I will be starting a project, and you will see the making of it. And in a few years time, I'm hoping it will be something big. Something that will change the world.

Just graduating high school, the biggest question everyone is asking is "who is going to be the most successful out of all of us?"
I'm going to strive for success, and I won't give up on this project. Then we'll see who's the most successful.
I WILL become a vet, and save many animals. I WILL specialise in the rhino, and other large and endangered animals. I WILL speak up about the Earth, and EVERYONE will hear.
And I will finish this project. And one day, people will be quoting from me.



P.S. I got my ATAR score today. Let's just say I'm one happy cookie :3 (16/12/10)
