It's been a while since I've uploaded anything photography wise. I went through my brothers junk box, and found a very pretty music box and key. The music box plays such a hauntingly beautiful song, but sadly it's not working as well as it used to...I loved it when I was little.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThe antiquity of the subject is wonderfully emphasized by the focus of the photograph. Enough of the music box is in view to know what is being displayed, enough of it out of focus to give the ancient feel to it, as though memory itself is slowly eating away at the edges.
This feels like a trip through the attic, with dust and time settled around with forgotten naturalism.
I feel like a kid again on the other side of this picture, and the feeling lingers long after putting the picture away. The strength of this photograph is really wonderful.
